it's been a year since i rebuilt my bottom end, one of my lifter was knocking, so i had them changed two times already, and it doesn't stop, it only does it when the car is cool. Also went with synthetic oil and it reduced the noise a lot. Can anybody help me on this what should i do.

So, are you talking about lifter noise or rod knock?...

Here are you choices

1) Lifter noise~ Buy the correct valve springs, push rods, rockers and lifters and make sure the lifter pre-load is suficiant...

2) Rod Knock~ Rebuild your bottom end...

By the way, what weight viscosity oil are you using 10w30?..If so go thicker, like 20w50, it will help... [patriot]
