I made a huge mistake. I installed my cam without checking piston to valve clearance. Is anyone running stock heads and bottom end out there with an F-303 cam or at least .512 lift and 226 duration? The block is not decked nor are the heads milled. I really don't want to disassemble my motor. The closest I've been able to find is .510 lift and 224 degrees clearing no problem, but .002 and 2 degrees can kill a motor at 6000 rpm.

i ran an f-cam with my stock bottom end and stock heads and had no problems. so you should be fine. r u still using the stock rockers? adding 1.7's might be too much not sure though. i have 1.6's.

i ran the TFS stage 1 cam, .499 int. .510 exh. lift, with 221 degrees duration intake and 225 exhaust at .050 thousanths lift, WITH 1.7 rockers AND 1.94, 1.60 valves, and milled, and i had no problem whatsoever, so dont even worry.

Hey bud how do you like the cam? Do you have stock valve springs? I'm also thinking about getting one.
