ok i put a new fms king vobra clutch in my car in septemeber put about 3,000 miles on it broke it in 500 miles and now its slipping but the thing is i can still launch hella hard in first gear and it doent slip at all could this mean i need to buy an adjustable clutch cable and quaderant or what does it mean some 1 please help thanks

1st gear (on street tires) puts the least stress on the clutch. 5th gear from a 3,000 RPM punch is what taxes your clutcht the most.


possible causes for the slipage is not using thread lock on the pressure plate bolts so they backed out, or a leaky front T5 seal getting tranny fluid on the clutch.
