I have a 94 Cobra and Everytime I shift into 3rd it grinds does anyone know exactly what is wrong. Is it syncros? clutch?

Do you have the stock quadrant/cable?

If you have an adjustable cable/quadrant, I'd add more tention to the cable.

Mine did that id 4th, then it started doing it in 3rd. I took it in, and he hooked i up for free, took 4 weeks though [Mad] . If It ever breaks again, im getting a tremec.

Change the fluid in the transmission, it helps and somethimes cures it....

I'd lean more toward a bad syncro than the clutch being out of whack...If it was the clutch it would do it in all the other gears too...I'm not saying its not the clutch, but I'm pretty sure its the syncro's

Synchro or if you have a aftermarket shifter, the stops could be ajusted wrong! [patriot]
