any one know what are the best gears for a 2001 gt with some mods

don't have em but want and would recomend 3.73's if you see some freeway driving...if not maybe 4.10's but that be a bit much...you could try 3.90's but i heard 3.73's from ford motorsports are the best buy and quality

3.73s are good for everyday driving, if you are way into racing get 4.10s. If I didn't drive to LA, and San lois so much I would have 4.10 for sure and I am still thinking about going from 3.73s to 4.10s. Don't get 3.55s you will regret it if you race at all...

i usually hear that the 4:10's are the best for the 4.6 cars, but no personal experience on it

With a modular, you'll hardly notice the 3.73s. 4.10s will work nicely for a daily driven car. I know quite a few guys running 4.30s, but they are turning 3k on the freeway(which is a lil high IMO).

Pick a gear ratio you want then go one higher. that way you can't short yourself.

if you are thinkin 3.55's go 3.73's if your thinkin 3.73' go 3.90 or 4.10 :-)

I love my 3.55's yet I wouldn't mind trying out the 3.73's. To bad gears can't be swapped as easy as rims or mass air's. [burnout]

3.73 or 3.90 gears would work best for a daily driven street/race car! i have an 02 gt with the basic bolt-ons and with frpp 3.73's and felt the difference but just go with 3.90's and tell me all about it! so i can get some on my bro's 03 gt...
