I have an 88 with non black interior. I have a 91 with Black interior. My question is, will the black dash work in the 88? I mean electric wise, will the harnesses match up? Thanks for the help.

it will work. you can interchange a 4 eyed fox dash with a later model, and those are completley different in every way.

Be careful how you use the word interchange.

You could infact put you fox dash into a CamEro but that does mean they interchange.

As a fact those dashes will NOT swap as you would like. It can be done, but it will take some wiring, (Especially regarding the airbag area) and you will have to do some fabbing to the steering column area. Also the dash clusters are not interchangable.

Your best bet is to remove your existing dash, have it painted and or dyed and replace it.

Just find the right one. I think 90-93 are all the same and 87-89 are the same. You will run into problems for sure if you try to use the wrong one. Just do it right the first time. [patriot]

well if your worried about running into problems with wiring then dont touch your dash. lol
its a mess in there. and i meant inter change as you can swap, i know that they just dont swap right over with out a headache.
your right though, i would just have it painted
