I don't know if it has always done this, or if its just something that has recently caught my attention, but when I hit the brakes a lil harder than the usual everyday needs, the brake light comes on. It doesn't even necessarily do it if I'm doing it all of a sudden, its just something when I push down a lil harder than I would normally need to. The car is brand new, I just need to know if I have to take it in to get checked or I'm just seeing things.

Check your brake fluid level.

Its a brand new car. Just has over 3k miles on it. I'll check the fluid level tomorrow. Oh well, who knows.

Is it the parking brake light? If it is, my Cobra does this too. I am not sure why.
