When my car gets in the 4,000-5,000rpm range it sputters and kind of sounds like its backfiring??? [Mad] I dont know what it is and no smoke or anything comes out my pipes so its not like a cylinder or anything. I put a new fuel filter in like a couple months back so i dont know what it is please help!!! [Mad]

my first guess would be to check the usuals, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor.

Ok guys thanks a lot i will do that. I have new FMS wires and new fuel filter so i guess i will get new plugs and cap and rotor.
