I was thinking of a McLeod Clutch, but don't know witch one. I don't want a really stiff clutch but I want one that I can drive pretty hard. I have a little leg made of bones so I can't handle a really stiff clutch....what would you guys recomend??

thanks..

since you are not needing alot of clutch i would recommend McLeod single disc with an alluminum Fly wheel, adj master. I would have got you the part number but their product catalog is down.

Its not a LS1

A King Cobra has nice soft pressure plate, yet grips better than stock. Next step up is possibly a Spec stage 2... I have it, its a bit firmer than my king cobra was, but you don't notice it after a week. I've felt a motorsport HD and it was very stiff. You wouldn't like it for sure.

I've never heard a bad thing about SPEC. I was thinking of getting a stage 2 from them pretty soon.

Adam get a SPEC stage 3 since you are S/C.
Stage 2 is a good clutch also. the mcloud/kevlar disc will give u a stiiffer throw. No good if you ask me. Takes the driveability out.

imbroken- thanks, but I wouldn't go that far!

SlipNslide281- sorry for the chevy clutter on this post... You really limit your selection by wanting soft pedal feel. Probably the best thing to do is ask to sit in peoples cars at the next meet/track date and see what brand/model you like.

McLeod billet aluminum flywheel...
Spec stage 3 clutch (nice grip-rated to 600 lb.ft. torque, nice weight savings)...
Ph**k it- while you're down there - throw on aluminum d/shaft, but since you have a Leen you might consider a composite unit .

Lookie here:

comp.shaft

LOL I no what you mean I didnt think about that b4 I got mine (motorsporst HD)and you seen how small I am. I never leave town, A lot of shifting. At first it sucks but give it about a month if that and you dont really notice it. well actually I thought mine was getting soft until I pushed it in with the right leg. If you would like to met up some time or at he meet on the 30th and test drive let me know. I was very happy with it though!
