Do Ford Transmissions go out at 100,000 miles? Some guy told me this last night, He said that almost all mustang transmissions go out at 100,000 miles no matter if you take care of it or not! i am reall y concerned abou this cause I am almost there

All depends on the usage.
An AOD in a highway driven grocery getter should last and last and last.

A T5 in a powershifted drag bitch might be good for 1 pass, maybe 1000, you never know.

I got an AOD and I mostly use it on the freeway from livermore to sac or livermore to danville. dont really do to much stop and go drivin! What do you think!
