Im looking into buying a suspension. its gonna go on my 89lx this will not be a daily driver. i want the best of both worlds, meaning that i want to be able to hook-up good on the track and aslo be able to hit turns pretty good. what do you guys recomend? thanx in advance.

I just posted this in another thread.... but the best bang for the buck suspension setup that is good for 1.6X 60 fts assuming you have 3.73's or better is:

Remove the front sway bar

slicks

maybe weld up the control arm mounts if you plan to do this often and your car is 'heavy'.


Clutches, axels, trannies carriers, ect will need to be replaced and upgraded when they start failing.... but at least you didn't waste $$$$ on control arms, shocks, struts, springs, and drag radials to show up to the track and run 1.88 60 fts all day.

Hey Sawson, would you consider my car "heavy".....lol Anyway, do you know if they make a torque box reinforce kit for the SN95 stangs?
