Im looking for one right now but my only concern is the power differences. My car has BAMA programer btw if it helps

The only difference from a cobra and mark8 are the intake cams. 97 and 98 mark8 have the same beehive springs as 96-98 cobra. I currently have one installed in my cobra after i blew my cobra engine. Just got it dynoed and got 454 to the wheels. Only power difference u can see are from cams wich is about 5-10hp

Thanks for the info bro! Very helpful and someone from here has a MK8 for me in Sacramento. One last thing. Do you think the 5-10hp is noticeable?

I felt no power difference at all, only difference was slight exhaust tone. Call any auto dismantler they should have for u in about 2days i picked one up for 500 complete with harness and all for 500 with 80k
