For Sale - 1991 Mustang GT - $4,250 o.b.o. (updated asking price)
(no trades)

325rwhp/360rwtq

Silver w/ black interior

331ci stroker short block
Trickflow Stage 1 cam
AFR165 heads ported/polished
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
MSD 6AL box, distributor, wires, coil
Powermaster alternator
Underdrive pullies
Long tube headers
Spec Stage 1 clutch
Aluminum radiator
5 speed, manual T5 (original, 3rd gear synchros wearing out)
3.73 gears
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Bilstein rear shocks, Tokiko front shocks
Braided stainless steel brake lines
Hawk HP Plus brake pads
Drilled/slotted rotors
Sub-frames
Caster/camber plates
Hankook Ventus RS-2 - 245/45/16
Stock Pony rims
Car cover w/ lock and key

Included, but not installed:

SN95 spindles for rear disc conversion
31 spline axles
Baer brake calipers (4)
New speedo cable

Car has 158k miles on it. Since the 331 was installed, I put 500 break in miles on it and only raced one summer of autocrossing. I did run three drag passes on this set up and had a trap speed of 110mph. I have nearly all of my receipts including full details on the short block. Selling because I never have the time to race it anymore and hate seeing it sit.

Interior was converted from gray tweed to black. Has very minor flaws (a screw here or there that needs to be replaced). Exterior: front and rear bumpers are damaged at the corners and hood has a half-dollar sized bare spot in the paint.

Has never been in an accident. Bought it from the original owner.

Note - You may have seen this ad a few months ago. I did pull it down as I thought I would get back to racing it, but I'm now 100% sure about selling it. My life has different priorities after just having purchased a home.

UPDATE - 12/6/11:

The car is registered through March 2012 and just needs a test-only smog to get tags. DMV said buyer could use a 2 day pass to transport the car on it's own accord.

UPDATE - 12/7/11:

Forgot to note, there is no smog equipment or A/C on this car anymore.

I do still have the trailer, but thought the Mustang would sell easier if listed separately.

JohnB put this together for me. [Smile] Says it's 9.5:1. They are flattop, 4 valve relief pistons.

has it been non-op'd since 2006 or just not paid

Posted by Dizzy (Member # 884) on :

Long story in a nutshell... Called DMV and they said they never got my PNO so I had to go in and explain. The system follows my story but since I have no proof I have to pay back fees, blah blah blah.

End result I had to pay 3 years reg (of the 6 years with no penalties) and the car is now registered through March 2012 and just needs a test-only smog to get tags.

Also, DMV said buyer could use a 2 day pass to transport the car on it's own accord.

I thought you weren't going to sell it? I'd jump on that quick if I had cash for another car.

Posted by Dizzy (Member # 884) on :

Ya, when I posted it back in July I had changed my mind and decided to keep it... but a month later I was already wanting to sell it again. I just don't race it anymore.

Yes, the original owner didn't take it in for the recall and it caught fire in his garage. It only seized the front pullies/pump assembly on the original motor, I replaced the pullies and pumps and put in a powermaster alternator.

This car not selling for just over $4K seals the deal that I am never modding another 79-04 Mustang again. F that.

TTT, best of luck with sale.

Seriously with all the mods this Stang has I'm surprised no one has jumped on it . I know for sure if I had the cash I'd love to own this mustang . Fuck , someone could buy it and part it out and make a profit if they didn't want to keep it!

Dizzy don't take a penny less than what you're asking, it's already too good a deal !

I don't know why it wouldn't be, but I haven't had it go through smog in many many years. I just paid the reg and kept it off the street. To register the car it has to be smogged through a test only and then tags can be obtained.
