Car is 15 years old with original paint (other than the body kit which was installed around 60K miles) so expect the usual chips on the front bumper, there is some curb rash on driver side front bumper down low from a high curb, passenger side wheel is scraped from a curb, and rear bumper has a scratch from garage door. I've owned the car since 1999 and it was my daily driver until last year (very short commute to work), she's no trailer queen but has always been garaged and well cared for. Other than the chips and scratches, the paint is in great condition. I've got well over 12K (receipts) in parts alone, let alone all the professional install of everything by APEX Motorsports in San Jose, CA, and suspension by Custom Alignment in Mountain View, CA. Built for the track, but life changed (2 kids and a mortgage) and she never made it there [Smile] I've had a great 11 years with this car, enjoyed the hobby of modifying the car, but I no longer have the time or lifestyle to tinker with my cars anymore. I have a boring diesel jetta now that gets 42PG [Smile]

Full disclosure sale!
Car will NOT pass CA SMOG due to the following mods: Bassani x-pipe with only 2 cats, since 2009 you now have to have 4), adjustable fuel pressure regulator, cold air intake doesn't have a carb number on it. Yes, CA has gotten a little crazy with all this. Would be around $1K to add the cats, swap the fuel regulator, and add a cold air intake, but I really don't want to go through the hassle since it works and runs clean the way it is. Smog inspection sheet attached, you can see it passes the sniff test with flying colors, this is just a visual thing. I will be selling the car for 'parts' as PNO (Planned No Operation) as it does not have CA smog. If you want to drive it in CA it will be your responsibility to bring it up to par. Live somewhere with no SMOG, you are ready to go.

Hot start issue. Car starts and finds idle perfect on a fresh start, even when it is cold, but I have experienced after it has been run, stopped (go in for shopping or something) come back out and start it, it will struggle to find idle and you have to assist it for 30 seconds by applying a little gas. See the video. Supposedly it is the IAC valve, but it is so little an inconvenience for me I never bothered with it.

I reserve the right to cancel the auction as the car is also for sale locally.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice post and great for sale ad! Car looks awesome and if the way you've prepared the ads are any indication of how you've taken care of the car, i'm sure its worth every penny you're asking for. Which is?

Great post, but bidding sucks. Keep it on ebay if you want an auction.
