i have an 87 but im stripping the speed density guts and making it mass air,thats the reason im asking for 89-92 not 93. i have the mass air meter and the intake already just need the harness and the ecu

For your MAF conversion you must use a California 88 or every state 89 harness, these are the only 2 years which are plug and play for your 87.
90, 91, 92-93 are all different harnesses
You can tell the 88 and 89 harnesses as they will have MAF meter connector,no white airbag connectors, and two round connectors by brake booster (88 will have a rectangular MAF connector but plastic connector can be swapped to oval connector for ease of MAF meter selection)
As a side note: you can use an auto computer in a 5 speed but not the other way around
