Was the car properly aligned after being lowered? what kind of springs/shocks does it have? Do you have receipts for the replacement motor?

Definitely interested [patriot]

it has been aligned properly, Ive gone through two sets of tires and the fronts have NEVER worn uneven, its not even lowered that muuch, maybe an inch all around.

I got the motor out of a wrecked 98 with only 34k on the odo, car fax confirmed and everything, I dropped her in myself so there are no receipts, but the motor is claerly a 98 from the exhaust manifolds

this motor burns so clean, I have the smog results if you are interested. A guy is suppose to come over today and possibly pick her up for 6500, which is the offer he gave me. Id be happy with 6500 but its the ABSOLUTE lowest id ever go.

So the correct mileage on the motor is 70k+? The way you wrote your ad made it sound like you had a new motor put in.

Good luck on your sale.

no you are mistaken!

the motor has 40k TOTAL,

this is not that complicated

I pulled a 34k motor out of a wrecked 98 and dropped it in my cobra,

that was 2 years ago, I have put 6k miles on her since,

34+6 = 40...

please do not post your math mistakes and scare everyone away... .thanks....

I 100% agree is it is not that complicate, just be precise, in your wording. Your ad is a little misleading (not saying your being sneaky). But if you leave it to interpretation, think about the people that assume and walk away.

Good luck on your sale, looks like a screamin deal....

what I mean is its a ford built motor, from the factory, original ford, ect ect, not built by a shop or someone in a garage, the motor has never been opened up by anyone except ford

I really dont see how you got 70k miles

man I just want to sell this car, im so sick of trying to sell it with this crap economy, and the California politicians

Just clarifying how I got that.

You said 40k on a replaced motor. (Which I read as I put 40k on a brand new motor, by your wording)

Then you said when you got the motor it had 34k on it. (So I still had the first statement in my head, so I am like ahhhh, 40k put on a motor that had 34k....74k still not bad.)

Then you said this...
"id take 6500...maybe
but It only has 40k!"

That is what made me ask my question. It was just a little confusing for me that is all. Even at 74k I felt it was a great deal. But alas I am not in the market, but clearing this up may help you sell it faster. Good deal.!

thanks man, believe me I have a bit more then 6500 in her, but! I remind myself I drove her around for 2 years, so Im ready to cut my losses and sell her at 6500, I can not go any lower guys!
