The tranny was rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. I drove the car before it was removed and it is in perfect working order. I have receipts for the work. The tranny has a nice Pro 5.0 shifter. The Lakewood bellhousing has the mid plate but no hardware. I'm assuming you could use your stock stuff. The pressure plate on the clutch is great and there is still some life left in the clutch but I would replace the disc. PM or call with any questions.

Hey, Albert! No, I'm just clearing out the garage a little bit. Too many cars and too many parts. You know how that is. It will be a long time before I need a tranny, I have another Lakewood bellhousing (2 actually), and I've got a twin disc McLeod so I don't need the Spec.

A guy was supposed to pick it up last weekend but backed out at the last minute. We had agreed on a price and eveything. Annoying.

The car was a black ('89?) GT. I drove the car with this setup in it before I bought everything.

FYI, the road race and regular versions both have OD, the regular is just taller (.64 versus .82).

I have TKOs in both my 98 and 68 Mustangs- they are great transmissions! Bump for a good deal.

Thanks, John! I might put the stuff up on Craig's List but I don't feel like dealing with the low balling idiots wanting me to trade for some random POS they've had buried in their attic for the last decade.

how much work would it take to install in a '66 mustang?

Not much. I was going to use it in my '65 fastback. Its basically a bolt in. You just need the right cross member, clutch cable, etc.

Yes. You would need the right bellhousing and clutch but the tranny is no problem.

Is it possible to change the input shaft for the longer one to make it fit in a 94 cobra? would I also have to buy a different bellhousing?

this should work on a 94 cobra as is

it is my understanding that the 94-95s came with a longer input shaft and deeper bellhousing to push the transmission back in the tunnel a bit to put the shifter in the right spot. since this tranny came out of a 89 it would have the shorter input shaft and the bellhousing would be for that length input shaft as well. am i wrong on this? [Confused]
