Definatley run a car fax to make sure it does'nt have a 158,000 miles. hard to tell from the small underhood pic but it does'nt look clean enough to be at only 58K.

It wouldnt surprise me if it was. I had an 84 SVO a few years back that had 41,000 miles on it and from its condition I assumed it was 141 and sold it accordingly. I was doing a carfax on another car I was buying and ran that one for the heck of it and it was actually an orginal 41k mile car. And the price sold it for I pretty much gave it away.

yeah i just got an svo that has been sitting for 12 years that only has 55,000 miles on it for 800 but it looks like it has way more miles on it. to bad they replaced the rear window.

what's the differences between the 3 years they were out? '84-'86

I know 86's had 3.73's and a bump in power, while the 84 & 85's had 3.55's or 27's and also the 85.5's and 86's had flush mount headlights, hope that helps.

I'm in the market for one now for a daily driver, just waiting for a good deal.
