I recommend a different month since knotts is in april and their may be quite a few people who would go but will be getting their cars ready.

OR

have some sort of meet and shine type of thing saturday before knotts in the am, everyone meets up hangs out shows their stuff then roll out at noon or 1 to head to knotts. just my .02

I might have a place in Antioch we could have it at. On the water, private property and lots of parking and good food and drinks inside the restaurant. Riverview Lodge for the locals that know.

That would make it close for everyone. Bay guys can take the 24, Rich can take the 4, north bay and south bay can take 680, sac guys can take 160, and the 209 could take vasco rd.

A show and go would be fun.

It needs to be put to a vote. Show and go at Sac vs. a regular style show closer to the bay. I wish this site had a poll option.

so it's ok for us folks out here to drive to the bay, but it's not ok for you guys to drive down here? depending on the day/event i guess they would charge $5-10 to park in the pits. hopefully brandon can chime in..

And ofcourse there will be a small gate fee fellas,this will be like a sanctioned "cafords" event,car show,bbq,drag racing,and good times..any other location WILL turn into a swang fest and cops will shut it down way to quickly,at the track that can't happen and any retard that wants to do dumb shit WILL have there car towed an laughed at by everyone else! But regardless of all the "what-ifs" everyone respects the track and what its about,I feel it would be a dope little event and u can't promise this with a parking lot

Am I the only one here that enjoys spinning a couple donuts once in a while? I'm not talking like at a sideshow with people running around the car and stuff, just a harmless couple spins of the car and on with business. What if there was a way to incorporate a judged donut contest into an event? like get them to section off x amount of square feet in the pits or something. I don't know if they would go for it, or if most of you guys would even want to see it, just seemed like an idea, if you guys hate it I understand...

Last time I went to sac raceway. I ran 11:50's in my vert cobra without a cage. The track officials didn't say anything to me but this was during TNT though.

i see, that would be cool. I wouldnt want to drive a couple hours to the track just to be told my night is over though so id have to confirm beforehand

So we think we got a date and some details worked out for this show, it looks like its gonna be May 12th, 2012. Starting at noon, This should give every one enough time to set up and show and talk. and then for the guys that want to race grudge starts at 5:30-6:00. There will be a $5 cover to get in and the cost to "show" will be finalized this week some time. Thanks to Brandon (sic9250 i think) for helping with this, if any one has any question comments please feel free to pm me or brandon on here thanks

I think Sac would be cool since we can setup some grudge races there and it will probaly keep the swangsters away but then again the SA car the other week was crackin and only one person acted stupid there.
