i want to get a good baseline dyno but some places charge a lot of money and was just wondering if there are any dyno days comin up, it would be cool to check out other cars as well. A lot of the things i see going down are all way too far for me.

even hayward is about 40miles away from where i live in san jose. My car gets about 7mpg so that would equate to roughly 11gallons @ 3.65 = $25 just in gas. If im gonna drive all the way out there id like to do it for a car meet or dyno day otherwise it most likely wont be worth it especially if you consider traffic on the way up. I know a local shop down here would dyno it for $150 (Tech3) i think (dont quote me on that), and its only about 2 miles away. Its not all just about money though, id just like to kick it and check out some cars and shoot the shit.

LOL wow my math sucks ass cheeks i dont know WTF i was thinking. Anyways, yeah its a 533ci street big block with an 1150cfm dominator so it chugs gas pretty bad. The 3.70 gears 9in rear and c6 3speed auto and 4200lbs race weight aint helping much either......

anyways maybe we can get something set up!

My 68 used to get horrible gas mileage too, until I had a TKO installed. Anyhow, I set up a dyno day at AED early last summer, and will probably do so again this year. Even with 3 pulls at $30, your gas money is not going to justify the drive unless you just want to go for a long drive. If you are looking for something sooner and closer, try TPS Motorsports. I'm sure Mike can put your car on the dyno for less than $150.
