This will be the last one of the year. Even though Foster Freeze is not there, we will meet at the same place around 11 AM. Yes I will be there on time. The cruise will start around 12:30ish. When you see the car pictured below take off, thats when we will leave

I know exactly where the old Foster's Freeze is. There is also a decent RoundTable Pizza in that same plaza if anyone wants to get a personal to go before cruising out.

Just some randome musings to throw out here.

Okay, the CHP having to run a traffic break on 92 was pretty embarassing, while I wasn't caught in it because I was behind Matt (9Cobra8), to see it happen and hear about it wasn't all great.

I think we all could ahave been a bit more civilized on the freeways, after all, a friend of mine pointed out that it's *much* more impressive watching a whole line of nice Mustangs all running down the freeway or surface roads. (The surface roads seemed to go well, especially on 92 back to 35, and on 35 as well). Sure we all got fast, powerful cars, and we'd love to show them off, but save that for the show & shine. We're all adults here, revving is one thing, taking off like a bat out of hell from the tollbooths was another...

Brian, you're a great cruise leader, I think next time, we should all just stick together, and show off in a big line of cars all cruising down the road and freeway like the old hot rods do.

As for the lunch thing, I'm sure it was all a mistake that a bunch of people made, not just Brian, I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to leave everyone in the dust, I think he was just thinking of stopping up there to take a cruise break and bathroom break from driving up Skyline. Oh well, C'est la vie.

I'm sure we'll have a more definate and pretty set plan for lunch on our next Show & Shine cruise, and if anyone wants to eat elsewhere, then they're free to, just don't bitch at the rest of us.

So...those are my thoughts, you're free to agree, add to this, or berate me, I don't care.

i just found this site of of stangnet. got my stang not too long ago and ive been looking for a local meeting thing. i live right down the street on silvergate so ill be there. anyone go with a fox body or will i be the only one? sounds like fun see u guys there...

Those are the only Fosters Freeze cruise pictures I could find. They're not even mine, and were from an event we did in 2001. The LS1's are Norcal-LS1 memebers... and so is the Audi

Beleive it or not, I may have the '65 at the show. We are in the process of wiring everything up and I am pushing my friend to get that done by the end of this weekend since he is doing most of the electrical for me. After that I only have to put the seats and some other interior stuff in. I think I will be able to make it as long as I don't have any major set-backs, but I won't make the cruise part because I want to put a few miles on the car before I take it into the middle of nowhere.

OK, since mapquest and yahoo are being gay and won't locate one of the intersections, we will do this the hard way.

Here is the route:

-Leave the Parking lot turn right onto Amador Valley Road, continue up to the light be in the left lanes.
-Left onto San Ramon Rd.
-Follow over FWY. be in right lane.
-Right onto Dublin Canyon Rd. We will pull up abit and make sure everyone is gathered real quick
-Take Dublin Canyon Rd up to Paloverde Rd. Turn Left on Paloverde Rd.
-Follow Paloverde Rd, turn Left onto Palomares Rd
-Palomares Rd. Is kinda long, some tight corners but we have done it before so it can be done. But it is still a fun rd.
-Follow Palomares till you hit Niles Canyon Rd. Turn left. There may be traffic, so this might take a few.
-Follow niles canyon/ ca-84 till you get to Main Street(Sunol) turn left onto Main ST. This will be the overpass rd that crosses over niles.
-Cruise slowly down Main St. in Sunol(This only lasts a few seconds anyway)
-Turn left onto Bond St. Cross the railroad tracks
-Turn Right onto Foothill Rd. (Warning at the beginning of Foothill rd. there are a bunch on 15mph corners. So no faster than 50 j/k. We don't need any wrecks.)
-Follow Foothill Rd back into Dublin.
-Foothill turns into San Ramon Rd.
-If interested some will be gathering for food after the cruise at Casa Orozco (mexiacn Food) right next to where we started.

Cruise will take about 1.5 hours, but it consists of areas where we can go quick, then areas of fun cornering. I hope everyone will enjoy.

at Palo verde rd there are a lot of CHP's hanging out around here as they do their 580 turnaround at this exit, so don't burn out at the stop sign or speed.

It was a nice turn out today. i didn't go on the cruise everyone i talked to seemed to tell me people act dumb on cruises and its really not worth going on so i didn't, glad i didn't to! Cobra is up and running! See you guys at the track on Nov. 1st!

Well for the people that went to the cruise, DID YOU SEE THAT CRASH!That Was Crazy, that Red mUstang almost got HIT! This is the story:I was in my ladies Red V6 MUstang(anybody see me?lol)And i was video taping the cars throuh the roads. Well it looked like the red gt wanted to speed a little bit more so at this one stop sign, I pulled over to the right so the gt and the other pack can follow the others in front of me,well i told him to go ahead, he goes through the stops sign, he doesnt see a car and the right and they almost Hit, the guy in that car honked and kept on going slow looking at us like "confused" Then this other car in back of him hits that car and then a big chevy SUV Hits the back of that CAR Really BAD! I was LIKE WHAT THE FUCK!. I felt guilty for some reason but if that guy wouldnt of payed of tension ,looking at us,slowing down, this wouldnt of never happened. But the guy in the red gt was smart buy gunning it,he swung it to the left and missed that car, Who ever that was, you had some handles dude.lol. It was fun though, i wish i had my car registerd, i hope i wasnt lagging you guys back from the front of the pack, eddie

Yah, I saw you pull off to the sign right there, I think it was the last stop right before Niles Canyon, or it was onto Niles. I heard tires lock and I saw a Taurus wagon off to the right stopped after the stop sign, but I was past that, I don't remember anyone hitting though.

He took us to his house in livermore then made a u then took us almost to the altamont pass then through livermore vinyards...THEN a 45min later tells us he was going home we followed him he felt bad and was trying to take us to find everyone else well if it wasnt for a fellow cafords person( everyone thank mach103) who told us everyone went the opposite direction we wouldve had no idea

I know when I'm in front of a pack or in front of brian on a cruise I always wait for everyone...Lights and stop signs always fuck up our cruises....

Well since the directions for the cruise were posted on the website, then after we made the first light, we DID stop and wait by the top of the FWY overpass, we went after we saw the group behind us, I am sorry for the comfusion. I walked around and told people we were about to leave. Some people just didn't listen.

I didnt even see you there. I got there a little late around 12 ish. My battery died right when I was about to roll out and I was held up till I was one of the last cars out of the lot Next time.

I was there with our Silver 03 Cobra. It had the hood and trunk popped. When everyone had there cars just chillin.

I figured it out right away that they were going the wrong way. I was in the black lx with ten holes. I turned around maybe one or two exits down when I saw that they were heading the wrong direction.
