The LX is running good, but slow, which is what I need right now. It needs some wiring work and needs s good internal cleaning but other than that I am pleased. However, I am going to take the Cobra to the meet on the 13th! Can't wait.

Doesn't look like I can make it now.......

I couldn't get the day off work & to top it off, my head gasket started leaking oil.

I'll be pulling the heads this week.

On the lighter side, while they're off I'll open up the exhaust a little & install new valve springs. Should give me a little more punch.

Damn that sucks! How long do you think your car will be down? I know that we are having another get together in Feb in Daly City.

See about taking that day off, get out and relax!

She should be up and running by Saturday, at the latest early next week.
She's actually running really good right now, but I don't want to risk it.

I'll be starting to pull the sh!t apart in the morning.

All I'm going to do on the exhaust is grind down the air injection hump & do some very minor wall porting......probably just polishing. I hear it's supposed to rain so I'm not going to spend too much time with them.

Ever since the 1.7RR install I've been getting some noticable valve float, the new springs should curb that & give me a little more in the upper rpm range.

I'm also going to slap in a C&L mass air meter. It's about time I got rid of the stock one.

Feb 3rd..... I'll request the day off early this time.

Have fun at the show!

I checked the weather and it's suppose to rain! Any ideas on how this meet is going to turn out? I guess everyone is going to bring umbrellas admiring everyones elses car. Oh well. It should be a great turn out regardless. No weather can stop this party!

It should be good out! I think that it is going to be partly cloudy so it will be a good turnout. Still plan on going?
