Again.... but this time with proof! LOL

 -
Car number matching Time slip:
 -
Car in 'Race' Trim fresh from the track:
 -
Under the Hood:
 -
Timeslip on the GT manifold:
 -
Slips sitting on the Stock CAI, 10.97 and Backed Up 10.99 along with the Tower sheet the owner of the track gave me due to the debacle last time I ran 10's and didn't get a timeslip:
 -
Mountain of Stock parts removed/upgraded in order to accomplish this goal:
 -

Hopefully that's enough 'Proof' I ran 10's in a Bolt-On all motor GT with GT intake, Stock CAI, and Stock headers.

This is awesome! I've seen you a few times when I've been at the track and have always been impressed with this car. How much dyno tuning time do you have to dial in your tune?

Goal is 1.4x 60's, but the car is setup for the Road Course so I can't complain.

Best 60 is 1.529 to date (last night)

I have 200 passes and well over 250 dyno runs on the car. All in an effort to dial in the tunes on the new 5.0. The new Fords require more than just dyno tuning. Track tuning is essential as Ford has implemented Torque Management which limits the amount of power available on the street/track, yet allows FULL power on the dyno.

Good news is it does not require every car to be track tuned (one test car is all you need). Once you find/adjust the offending parameters in the tune, it can be applied to everyone while tuning on the chassis dyno.

Congrats Shaun, I was there last time you hit 10s. Great to see you get that timeslip. Car is amazing. Hands down one of the most impressive 10 second cars I have ever seen. Did you ever figure out what was up with that shock/strut that seemed to seized?

Thanks KC!
Ordered a new one, removed the old one and compared compression / rebound of old/new. No difference, so I have a new shock sitting in the garage. LOL

Lastly, does anyone else notice Shaun is really stretching to look over the steering wheel? [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Very impressive Shaun! Its not only a great combination and finely tuned, but hats off to the other part..your driving! Nice photos also.

Now you gotta throw some boost at it and run 8's while remaining CA SMOG compliant that would be ridiculous!
I would have to probably sell both cars and buy a new 5.0, or maybe sell one and put the Coyote powerplant in my 93 and have you guys tune it [Eek!]

congratulations Shaun!...can i get a similar tune for my car? [Wink]
