NEIGHT, no I didn't get banned, I just can't figure out how to upload pics from my droid to photobucket.

Thanks for the compliment, this coupe isn't going anywhere just because I own a GM car too. I can't wait to launch it tonight @5500 rpms, I will see how well my injured trans holds up, but oh well might as well take it out with a bang LOL!!! I will post up my times later tonight...

Best pass of the night for Dustin was 12.58 @ 107.2.
He ran a string of 12.61-12.68's all night. I kept telling him he was short shifting it. He said the tach was at 6k when he shifted. I told him the tach was probably way off and to shift it up around 6500 on his tach. He gained a tenth and ran his best time when he tried. His tach is probably off by 400-500. RPM's. He wants to get back out there and try again.

Since the tach was off he kept bogging it too. 60's were from 1.75-1.80's all night.

Had fun tonight. Thanks Matt & Zack for all the help. I had no idea all these years that I've bee shortshifting this thing LOL. Next wednesday Im launching @6500 & shifting at about 6650, & I'm gonna run faster guaranteed!!!! 12.58 @107.5 isnt bad for short shifting though, just shows you this lil junk setup has more in it LOL... & yes I know my reaction time is terrible, but I'm not racing anyone at this point just trying to get comfortable & consistent with my launches for now.

Shit the Weather ended up being great. By 8:30 it was around 70 degrees with a slight downtrack breeze.

Yeah, I need to shift higher. For the 3 years I have had a 5 speed & H/C/I swapped in here, I had no idea my tach was 500rpm off...

Here is my BASIC combo....

Stock 302 bottom end, Edelbrock 2.02/1.60 aluminum heads, Edelbrock RPM2 manifold, FRPP E cam, BBK 70mm throttle body, Mac longtube headers, Mac o/r h, Magnaflow catback, underdrive pullies, 24# injectors, 190lph fuel pump, C&L 73mm mass air meter. etc.etc.etc.... Pretty basic combo & it made 300 rwhp/320 rwtq untuned...

Driveline is a centerforce clutch, & 3.73 gears.

Suspension is stock besides Bilstein HD's, MM 325# front coilovers, & sportline rear springs, all of which hurt weight transfer.

Wasup bro... Thanks. I never ran the car on street tires before so I dunno about what it would run, but it would spin like crazy so most likely it would be less than impressive.

I babied the Caddy at the track, Im not trying to pay for one of those rear diffs LOL... Glad you finally got the headers on, whats next with the car?
