Would I need a blow down tube for my nitrous bottle in my notchback? and when do you need a drive shaft saftey loop?

Just take the bottle out when you tech it and tell them your not running it, then put it in after, and they won't trip off the drive-shaft loop [patriot]

believe it or not the saftey rules are their for YOUR saftey. Yes, put a blow down tube and if you're running slicks put a driveshaft saftey loop in. We're talking about $45 in parts and like an hour install...

those answers are funny lol.

what to do what to do...

what about longer rear studs, when do you need those?

DS loop and longer studs on slicks or drag radials

if by coupe you mean the bottle in the trunk, yes you still need a blow down tube for the bottle

UNLESS - you have a steel/aluminum/composite bulkhead seperating the drivers comparement and trunk, then you are fine, factory seat is a no go

They made me disconnect my bottle because I didnt have a blow down tube but 3rd time down the track I was squeezing anyway [Wink] ...jus get one anyway, its probably the easiest thing to connect and you wont get hasselled at the track.

I was right behind a car at TNT this past Sat and saw someone snap a d/s in half right off the line.....lucky for him it didn't let go further down @ 100+mph [Eek!]

I may be wrong but i thought DR's were ok to use w/o extended studs even though i have them on the Evo w/ the QTP's
