How did you like the 18" Hoosiers?

Didn't seem like any problems getting them to hook!

What kinda 60's?

Did they bug you about a roll bar and/or cage at all?

Thanks guys, The Hoosiers stick like glue 1.5 60's all day they never spun once. I probably could have launched even harder. I really like them they have none of the swaying problems like w/ 15" slicks and I can just drive to the track and race and then drive home.

You just convinced Drew to ditch BFG in favor of Hoosier.

Excellent ET/MPH Buddy! [patriot]

errrrrr......It's going to be hard to leave behind the tride and true BFG's, but if these Hoosier-daddy's are hooking that well I may have to go for 1.3's on 18's!

Congrats Josh. You are a great customer and your car makes me proud! [worship]

Thanks guys, Drew the Hoosier hook soooo much better. I should have tried launching harder they showed no sign of giving up. I would bet if you came to Sears Point on one of the Summit ET Drag days where the really prep the track , you would get 1.3's on an 18" Hoosier.

Awesome numbers Josh, i was happy for 2 days because I was slightly faster, now i need to get into the 1.5's and try and keep up. Good to hear you like the hoosiers because I ordered a set for myself.

Hey Josh, glad you liked the video's. Your in-car vid really shows how fast you get down the track.

It's nice to see a fellow Mach1 driver pulling those kind of times... I may have to do the AED mod one of these days too.

I'll try to get the other vid to you also... It's got a good angle of the car. It's the run where you missed a gear but still got a low 11 sec run. That car is amazing!

Yea this car still amazes me ,I remember a day not too long ago that mid 10 second cars where all trailered in ,loud race cars. Now we have cars like mine , Tyler's and Drew's that run 10's on 18" tires and drive to work the next day with only a tire pressure change. Or cars like Shaun's that run 9's , looks like and is as quite as a catback only car.
Thanks again for taking the time to edit and send me the videos,
Josh

You forgot to mention Craig's stock looking 93 LX that drove 100 miles to the track and pulled 10.84 on the original "Pony" wheels. LOL!! It would have felt like a bigger deal if Tyler, Drew, and Sean weren't there going quicker! You AED guys need to slow down a little so I can keep up.

Josh, I love the way your car sounds going down the track with the in-car camera. By the way, you are driving it MUCH better than the first time I saw you out there. Good runs!!

Craig

lol...yea it took me a wile to get used to going so fast, the car went from a high 12 sec car to this over night. It felt like it was on the edge of braking traction all the way down the track.I am getting more comfortable shifting hard, one of these days I'll stop granny shifting.

With current funds I won't be able to mod my car a whole lot this season but hope to get out to the track a time or two every month. Plan on frequenting Wednesday nights at Sears Josh?

I'm installing the intake delete plates next weekend, that's likely the extent of mods for this year. Should be consistent 12.5-.6's.

Yea I'll be out there 4 or 5 times
