If the weather permits it, I will be out there. I want to get some warm-up passes so i'm ready for Ford vs. Chevy

Gates open at 9am-5pm..It doesn't say how much $ to race so i'm not sure about that. Probably have to call this number 916-972-1334

Sunday will be cool, if I remember right you can also reg at the gate, The show claims the gates open at 8am, I plan on running once or twice, my cage is not complete and the tranny is going so I am sure once I push into the 11's they will boot me for the cage, if not I will boot myself so I dont blow the tranny till my new one comes in.

What time do you guys think the racing will start? I know it says gates open at 9 am but i think thats for people to set up for the swap meet and car show. I'm thinking around 11-12 or somewhere around there. I don't want to get there too early, because after working all week i need to sleep in a little bit

Just got back and it was a good turnout. I had a rough start but with a little help from some of the member's out there I got My best MPH at 121.5. Was still a .10th off My best ET though. Not bad considering it weas in the mid 80's out there today. All in all it was a good day and met a few people. See everybody next sunday at the nor cal event.

I found out a couple things today...My tranny has been screwing me for who knows how long and I can only get 4 runs out of a bottle on a 150 shot...I had four good nitrous passes, 1st one I roasted the tires pretty bad off the line and went from 1 to 3rd and got 11.99 at 116. The 2nd run felt strong but none of my times printed out for some reason... The 3rd pass was my best to date, 11.47 @119 (picked up 3mph after my tranny rebuild), 4th was 11.49 @117 and it went downhill from there...(2)12.0s cause I think my car was running fat with no bottle pressure left.

All in all it was a good day.

All in all I had a good day at the track. Didn't break any land speed records, but I also didn't break my car, so that is good.

I wasn't out to get any new best, just wanted to go down the track, (its been 10 months since my last trip down the track ) Anyway, I wasn't driving the car very aggressively at all. I did cut a 1.650 60ft on the 18 inch DR's and I did almost beat my best MPH ever, (which was 124.998 in cold weather and was on slicks skinnies with a short belt). Today I was in full street trim and practically hot lapping the car at a few points in the day. Todays best MPH was 124.979, ugh, so close, AGAIN...lol

I still have to figue out this high RPM problem I'm having. But hey, the car was picking up 30 MPH on the big end every pass, except one, where it picked up 31 MPH

Well I still suck. I had one run that was going to be my pay off run. I got a 1.685 60FT. on the DR's got my best half track speed at 92mph, then I get stupid and F-up the 3 to 4 shift.got me a 12.1 @108. Then I started hot laping and nothing good comes out of that. Now I have to wait for Friday night.

I made it out there the best I could run was a 13.001 @107.989mph w/ a 1.964 60'(one leggin' it ). I still had a blast , and it was good to meet some of you guys from CAFords.
