How many brothers do you have on here?!...lol

I heard that it once was owned by HaulinAssMaro. Its was horrible oxidized black, with two ugly pin stripes, red interior and crank windows. Pretty much the worst looking mustang you could imagine [Wink] It did come with a PSCA license plate frame though..haha

It just got new paint, new interior and new wheels/tires. It looks a little better [Smile]

Do you get more runs on during Grudge Night or during a Test and Tune. Also, how much does it cost?

Thanx. I hope I don't spin 'em, I'm a little rusty. I do wonder what time I could post if the "stars align" and "hell freezes over" simultaneously and I put down a near perfect run.

Posted by twstd5o (Member # 1981) on :

There's a 50/50 chance they're gonna say you need to have a roll bar/cage. If they do, I'd just practice launching and then if you get it down, go for it but they make tell you to park it for the rest of the night.

good luck

That makes no sense to run a grudge night along with a qualifing somebody had a brainfart.

Yeah, I hear ya. I figure I've got one shot if they let me go at all. I think that even with a crappy launch I can still get 11's, so they'll probably have me park it after one run regardless. Sounds like the track should be prepped good so I hope I get a chance and hit a good run. Hope to cya there. [patriot]

If you have sticky tires I'd just heat them up really really good with a 10 second burnout and then stomp on it from idle.

If you have street radials you'll probably want to ease it off the line. Good Luck [patriot]

thats called wednesday night my friend. btw grudge is only for street cars with a few faster 'street' cars. the only reason pro mods were running was because they had a race the next day.

Posted by JohnB (Member # 969) on :

I really wish I woulda brought the Saleen for some runs. By the end of the night, most folks were hot-lapping.

Posted by eljefe (Member # 1753) on :

ya i wish i could have run, but i got stuck working when my cover person backed out, then the only time i leave the whole day i miss almost all the action (my buddys car breaking)

Still much cheaper than getting busted doing this stuff elsewhere!

I've been to Sac for many years and it's never really been THAT horrible of an experience granted i'm not up there every weekend like some may be but occasionally waiting long in the staging lanes and not such great track prep is a given for me considering the number of "street driven" cars that often attend.

Not to mention how much more popular our hobby has become amongst the younger generation including the imports.

I haven't been to Infineon in years but i always find myself traveling the extra distance to Sac. maybe it's the people out there or the fact that i usually get more quality runs in there.

[Whoo Whooooo!] for Sac Raceway!

no matter what if you take your car to sears point or sac you will get a better time at sac, it seems like the one's that are complaning are the ones running 14 or 15's so what does it matter how the tracks prepped
