well so much for my new MT Radials so far LOL. the first race of the year is always the worst so maybe it will get better. My first run the tires seemed to come out of the hole OK then when I hit second gear it was like driving on ice feathering the throttle trying to make them hook. I played with tire presure and shock adjustment all night untill I finaly gave up. my best run was a 11.34 at 127.2 on a 1.86 60 foot [Eek!] buy the end of the night I was in the 2.0 range LOL. It should get better, and it was better than the first race last year. I was a little disapointed i expected these big tires to hook better. BTW on the way home from the track with 4 people in the car I nailed it in first it dead hooks and dosen't spin when I hit the gears LOL. I think I neeed to start street racing again LOL

Drag radials are for street use. Pony up & get some ET Drags.
First run in the wife's GT was 1.59 backed up with a 1.55.

I have a set of drags I could use but I just am trying to go about this a little differently. I always run Drag slics on my 69. There is actualy a set on it I could probably run.(If they are not dry rotted buy now GoodYear Eagles Slics) [Frown] ). I someday might get around to it.

Best run of the 3:
1.55 60ft
7.4 @94mph 1/8th
12.5 @80mph 1/4.

No 4th gear....I coasted from the 1/8th to 1/4. (shifting from 3rd to 4th @96mph.
