i have a freind who has a 88 5.0 automatic, the only mod she has is the 2cat h-pipe by BBk...anybody have any ideas as to what she would run at teh track? oh and the engine and tranny were both rebuilt, all to stok specs, so the car has roughly 5k miles on it...thanx

Set the timing to 14*, remove the air silencer and do the 1-D-1 shuffle:

14.77 at 94mph (that was w/ 3.27 gears)

I'm thinking it will run a 15.5 stock atuos are really slow.

I agree with the 1st response, probably low-mid 15's, around 90 mph. Definitely slower if a 'vert or a heavy-ish GT.

Stock, I went 14.78@95

With Gears, LCA's, Exhaust, Timing, CAI, MAF I went 14.003@99

5 Spd GT Vert
