I am REALLY in shock. I just wanted this motor to hit 11.9x before I finished my new one. Sure goes to show what a difference a new set of slicks can make. (and a bit of tailwind [Wink] )

on a stock t-5? were you slipping it or just letting it loose?

Posted by FasterDamnit (Member # 442) on :

Lettin' her rip! Then throttle control depending on spin or bog. No powershifting, just speed shifting.

Thanks, again. Sure as hell wasn't gong to cut those 60ft's on my ragged out tires. And I saw enough hardware in your garage that could put you back in the top spot by at least 3 tenths. Just have to actually put the stuff IN your car. [Razz]

I've seen that stuff too. That just means you have to get those things too man.

I wish I was there Jim! Awesome runs! You got that 115! That is some damn good news my friend!

[worship] Congrats! 115mph is FLYING! What is the race weight?

Posted by FasterDamnit (Member # 442) on :

Right at 3200 w/ driver. I guess it would be lighter w/ skinnies up front.

Posted by jmcclesk (Member # 1355) on :

I THINK the skinnies save about 40-45lbs but dont quote me on that.

how is your car so light? I weighed mine in sac at the scales on the 17th and it was 3155 lb with out a driver. It goes up considerably with driver LOL

Posted by FasterDamnit (Member # 442) on :

Well,
No front sway bar, al heads, small battery, pull the spare/jack and sound deadener out of the hatch, 1/4 tank of gas. That's about it.
