This is the event that Fasterdamnit, Yellow94GT and myself went to in Palmdale. Where we saw Norman run 7s in his Mustang The Event is going to be on March 1st of next year. Just wanted to put it out on the Radar and see who might want to go this time.

Chuck I got your email,I'll add you to the list sometime this week. Palmdale is just outside of LA. I think we took about 6 hours to get there thats with stopping for lunch and gas. Anybody can race. And we will be going to Flames the night before. It's a big car hang out, I haven't seen any place like it around here. It's alot of fun and there's lots of racing down there.

Ya it's a little early, but someone already posted it on the Corral so I figured I would put it out here. Plus depending on the amount of people that want to go we might end up renting a vacation home instead of getting hotel rooms. Are you gonna go?

We were around 4 tenths off and it was 100+ plus outside. But the bottle should help correct for that

Hey Mark you know you can count me in!!! If i can sell my old rims and one of my cars I will have heads cam and an intake by then too, but even if I don't have the heads cam intake then I will slap on some Nitrous. BUT FOR SURE I WILL BE THERE!!! oh yeah where are we gona stay?

Thanks for the alert. I hope they will host another Quick 16 shootout. It's gonna be touch, PSCA opener in Phoenix 1/31 - 2/2, Mustang Drag Day 5 on 3/3, PSCA in Las Vegas 3/22-3/23. Weather in Palmdale will be very nice in March. I will put this on the racing calender.

I got some more info about the classes. This is from Sals Post on socalwildhorses.

Classes are as follows 1. Unlimited Ford-9.99 and quicker,bracket 2.All Ford- any ford,bracket 3.Vortech/Paxton Mustang Power Adder-any mustang w/ any power adder 4. 5.0 N/A EFI-heads up pro tree, 8.2 stock short block naturally aspirated,full rules e-mail me at salsspeedshop@msn.com 5.Nostalgia Ford-pre-75 Fords only,bracket 6. All Modular Mustang-self explanatory,bracket 7 Ford Truck & Lightning- any Ford truck,bracket 8.Open Grudge/Time Only-headsup with the car you pair up with. Hope to see you there.

Update. Here's some info I got off the Corral

Update! The Modular Mustang class is now heads-up!! So all you 4.6 racers get your slicks ready to battle it out on the 1320 to see who's got the fastest mod motor stang! Event supporters are; Vortech and Paxton Superchargers, AFR cylinder heads, JBA Racing, Granatelli Motorsports,Magic Ford, Fast Track Perf.,D&D Motorsports,Extreme Automotive,B&D Racing,KJ Jones Racing,Ben Alameda Racing, and X2C Motorsports! Plus MM&FF will be covering the event,and maybe 5.0 and Car Craft!

MDD5 DATE CHANGE!!!
Well guys, just found out LACR gave March 1st to someone else and MDD5 was moved to March 8th, a week later. Will find out more info, keep you guys posted!!!

We will be leaving the Fairfield area Friday Morning bright and early and coming back on Sunday. I have to figure out where we can meet the people coming from the SouthBay it will be somewhere on I5.

Hopefully we will be out with the new car, probably be more of a test session for us, still mad we missed the last one so we're trying hard to have everything done in time.

I believe the date was just changed again, moved up back one day and is now on the ninth. That is according to the post by Sal on PSCA message board today.

Please let eveyone know that the date of the event is March 9th,2003 at LACR. If you guys want to get time only runs before the event,LACR will have a lane for anyone associated with our event to run time only on Saturday,March 8th. Hope to see you all there.
