I am guessing that you ran those and not just converted them with a paper and pencil? If you ran them congrats and there should be NOOOO reason you can't get a tenth out of the et. Good luck.

yes they are on paper (time slip) also did a 1.500 60'foot do the conversion on the 1/8 mile [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

I don't do conversions. Conversions are for people who can't do it in person. That is a damn nice 60 foot time. Again, congrats.

Posted by jmcclesk (Member # 1355) on :

ok i understand you dont do conversions. dont know if i can get a 10. sec run. they let me know if i made ANY more full passes i could not come back to the track. untill i put a roll bar in it. just for my own info why dont you do conversions [Confused]

[Eek!] [Eek!] [worship] OMG, what'd you change or do? Are you able to rev it past 5k now? That 60' is Awesome!

Did you have that thing dynoed? Just curious, because a friend of mine put down 530 to the wheels and I was curious what he will do when he cages it and stuff. Good job again! You should be able to get a fair price for it now that you have shown what it is capable of.

Small Pulley, Small Pulley, Small Pulley!!!

I wanna see it go with the small pulley!!!!!

Is Sacto asking for a full cage just to run <11 secs? I thought that rollbar + sidebar was all the "cage" required until you get into the 9's?

The post said roll cage when I responded. The edit makes sense -- a roll bar + sidebar combo is required for hardtop cars running between 10.0 and 11.99.

If this car is tuned to the max he WILL require a ROLL CAGE!!!

With full boost and a computer system I bet it could pull off a 9.99. [Eek!]

John just wanted to give you my congrats on the pass. The car is looking very sharp. You need to get a cage in it and change that pulley! :-) Let me know when your going to the track again. Thanks Casey

I shudder to think what that thing would do with a small pulley, manual valve body, 100 octane and my EPEC system [Eek!] [burnout] [Big Grin]

What is the purpose of shifting it at 4800 anyway???? Is it to keep boost down or will the car not go past 4800 for some reason?????

The AOD is not cooperating. One more thing to spend money on.

He is not manually shifting it because the shifter handle falls off now. Remember when it did that at the Detroit vs Import event jay?

The TV cable is doing all the shifting for him right now.

I say grab a tube of Super Glue and make that shifter handle stay in place and start doing the AOD Shuffle!!! [Smile]
