OK- copied post from other board-

The mods->
3.73's- TransGo shift kit, stock converter- pulleys- short belt- 76mm MAF- 1.72 rockers (no diff. in back-to back testing)- shorty headers, rest of exh. stock- boxed stock rear control arms- iced intake- American Racer's on 10 holes.

After installing the 3.73's only saw about 1 tenth improvement last week.
Best run-
60ft- 2.148
ET- 14.243
MPH- 97.233

shift at 5k, 1-D-1 shuffle (don't bother w/ the "it's gonna break" whines)

Tonight
60ft- 2.104
ET- 14.069!!!!
MPH- 98.624

Over an hour cool down this week and melted an entire 7lb bag of ice before 1st run. No other changes since last week except maybe 5 degrees cooler. I was amazed! Any ideas on how I lost almost 2 tenths w/ only a .045 decrease in 60ft ? Rest of my runs were back in the 14.2x's to 14.3x's on 2.16 to 2.23 60 ft.s Still haven't put in an electric fan or exhuast sytem, yet. What do you guys think?

OK- copied my post as well from other board-

Thats awsome. How much do you think the 1-D-1 is worth? Also, did you mean
the 1.72's gave you nothing, or the 76mm MAF AND the 1.72 rockers gave you
nothing?

You're just a 2.00 60 ft away from 13's!

Good job Jim !!!

As far as the 60ft vs E.T. goes, My best was a 12.67 w/1.86 60ft
It had run a bunch of high 12.6's w/1.8x 60ft times
Then I get a 1.77 60ft and it drop my E.T. to 12.44
A 1.74 got me a 12.36 timeslip !!!

Also, shallow staging can make a .10+ difference in E.T.
Did you stage it the same "depth" each run?

Brian

Nope, not worth it. Good luck getting more than three runs!

Brian- I tried to stage as shallow as possible each run. I would rather not discuss my .493 light in the first round...

You stage as shallow as possible and cut a .493 light? Did you leave on the FIRST amber ?!?!?! ROFL !!!!!

But I don't want to talk about my .328 light shallow staging
