Looks like some of the Norcal LS1 guys are going to be able to make it after their cruise.
Last time, while quite a few of us showed up, many of us didn't. The LS1 guys WAY out numbered us !!!

Another thing, This time, we need to walk up and introduce ourselves to each other. It would be nice to put a face to the names on this (and other) boards

This is my car, if you see it, come up and say hi

The only differences between when this picture was taken and know, is a '92 limited edition rear spoiler and a 6 point rollbar

I am going to be driving my car back to San Jose saturday night so I'll definetely make it out there "WITH" my car...

I'll just let someone else drive it to the track and I'll take it from there.

Can't wait until I get some "before" nitrous and after #'s.

I might be able to go, hopefully I can make it. If I go, it will be my first time racing at the track, so I might be a little nervous, but I just got some new Nitto DR's today so that will help some, along with my new clutch installed last weekend.

I definitely want to go. This will be my first time at the track. I'm considering doing some runs, but I'm not sure....maybe a little nervous. I sort of feel like I should observe and see how things go so I don't make an ass of myself on the track. What is the protocal on bringing the better half? I think she wants to go. Does anybody want to caravan from the South Bay?

Brian, that would be cool, but there are a few other items that I need to address too. I ordered a complete new headlight assembly, which needs to go in, hopefully it will be here by saturday. I guess the car is kind of in limp mode right now. The header panel is cracked, a few little things are still bent. If I can get these other little issues straightened out, then I will definately let you know on the hood. I'll let you know for sure on friday. Thanks man.

I ordered the Stalker bumper a few weeks ago. It had a 2 week backorder, so it should be on it's way. Shipping was $110! Oh well, guess it has to get here somehow. Wish you and Heather could go on saturday. Tell her I said hey. I'll talk to you later on.

If somebody can help me thrash to finish my heads/cam swap I'm down. Would need help early Saturday (22nd) probably like by 9am

All that is done is AC drained , heads/intake ported, and heads assembled. (valves/springs/locks/keepers/retainsers/rockers)

Well, My car isn't 100% up to par.
I have an exhaust leak that I can't get sealed, and it backfires occasionally when I really get on it and then let off

My MSD ignition just took a sh*t yesterday

My new clutch and I aren't getting along very well and I think my cable has stretched

So all in all, I should be able to go out and get my ass handed to me by just about everyone on Saturday

But I am still going to RACE !!!!!!!!!!!

Brian - I got my headlights in, so the car looks half-way presentable, but I forgot that the hood latch is pretty mangled. So, I guess don't worry about bringing the hood for me. I really appreciate the offer though. Anyway, i'll be looking for all of you guys and gals tomorrow. Later

BRING ON THE LS1's !!!!!
Went to the track tonight for test and tune for a couple reasons. First, to see if my new clutch was going to work out and if the extra weight of the roll bar hurt me.
Second, to work on the lights because my reaction times usually SUCK !!!!!
The car ran great and the times were just about the same as before

Got in 8 runs, 2 were aborted runs due to missing 3rd once, and pinging on the other.
But of the other 6 runs, My worse time was a 12.98 @ 107.4 on a redlight (No roll out)
The other times were between a 12.74 and 12.87

Reaction times were between .540 and .644 with 3 .5xx !!!! Much better than the .7xx -.8xx I usually run.

No word on the 8" yet, but I do have a couple phone calls out there. Hopefully know something soon

Brian- looks like the clutch helped your reaction times. The weather was pretty good tonight. What was your best MPH? I probably won't be able to make it tomorrow.
Also have you seen that AFR vs TFS post on the corral? Some complete fool is claiming a combo like yours, but a 302 with a FTI custom cam will run 8 MPH better than your 331 does! LOL. Get on the phone ASAP and get this magical cam man, forget a 100 shot of nitrous!!!
