Hey Wrathof58, what do you drive? What times does it run? And most importantly: Will you be out there with us on the 23rd?

Its an 87 LX CPE, light blue, with stock
10 holes wheels. The 302 was running 12.4X@110+ and 11.2X@123-4 on 150 of juice. I've only had this engine in the car running about 3 days, so I haven't ETed it yet. I'm thinking 11.50-75 on engine.

I'm STILL looking for a cowl hood and need a bit of time to break the engine in, so I'm not sure if I'll have it race ready by then but will try.

Wrathof58, glad to see a hard running LX around here, it seems most of the "fast" fox cars are trailor queens at Sac. What heads/intake/cam did you go with on the 351W? What tranny? It seems all the 'stangers (and shops) around here are scared to drag race! The truth is out there guys: (ET)!

I'm with you. More Mustangs need to go out just for fun. Not enough racing, ...

I used TFS heads and the cam is around 301 total duration. Its big, but I've got tons compression to back it. Tranny is a Tremec T5.

Look forward to seeing you guys at the track.
Always cool to check out other mules.

What are you talking about? You have a week to get the exhaust on before grudge night (23rd). UPS droped off the parts, whats the problem?

Got rid of the coupe. My beater is an 85 GT. The coupe weighed in at 2600 with 1/4 tank gas once I was finished.....
