I know it’s a total long shot, but has anyone seen my old 1995 Lightning? Sold it to someone in the Sacramento area around 2005. -

If you have the VIN you can give it to a private investigator with access to DMV records. They can get in touch with the current owner if it is still on the road.

Just looked up the smog history. Last time it was smogged here in CA was March 5, 2016. Its either non-op, out-of-state or not around any longer. I can ask a few people to see if they still have access to carfax and see what they come up with.
