I see a lot of fox body owners on this forum. What do you guys think about them breaking the $100,000 barrier? That is a lot of money for a station wagon chassis and truck motor parts.

If I had the means to drop cash like that I would. Hold it for another 10-20 years and then re sell it.

It's too much money for that car. There are better $132,000 investments you can make 10-20 years out.

Of course there are. But if I just had 132k lying around and it was like chump change to me I’d def do it.

just think, jeff bezos (amazon ceo) he could buy this and (to him) it would only be like spending less than $1.50

Oh yah I’ve seen other comparisons like that. I think there was a Bill Gates one that said if he dropped a 100$ bill by the time he picked it up he would have already made more than 100$

My thoughts on the rich and their protectors are laid out in this post and this post here. I don't want to change the topic of this thread though.

Barrett-Jackson Foxbody prices have been going up every year. A $132K Cobra R is stupid money to a lot of people. That is a lot of money for the car you're getting.

It might be a lot of money initially but when he sells he won't lose out on money. Rare cars will always bring in the dough, especially rare with no miles in mint condition.

Probably. As the old adage goes, a car is worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it. Apparently $132000 is what someone is willing to pay for a fox body today.
