i just ordered one from LMR, and noticed there is a "made in taiwan" stamp on it and a "steeda" brand is no where on it? Also, when i got the cable, there was a tag attached to it with a LRS-7553B item number, which looks to be a completely different product according to their website. A customer service rep i spoke to said "it looks like its the same thing" but to call back if it doesnt fit and we'll fix it. Even my packing slip says i ordered a steeda.

Damn, they arent even sure...has anyone ordered a steeda for their fox from LMR recently? same issue? i hope i didnt get the "50resto" brand smh

You done fucked up by buying non OEM clutch cable. I've had two different aftermarket cables snap on my ass and gave my leg a workout the whole damn time.

Really? Mine does? [Confused] I don't remember 100% because the one I've had on here for years is the one I got at autozone. Like butter, well for a cable setup.

Even the Ford cable is made in Taiwan. You got the right cable. It's good.

LMR sent me the steeda no charge and i can keep the current one as well. Very cool. But i plan on getting the MM cable if i dont like the steeda.

How? The oem cable end at the clutch fork is non adjustable and too short. How did yours fit? Interesting

fredfifty ------ are both cables made in Taiwan? Any differences between them? Does your quadrant have multiple hooks for different length cables?

Forgot to mention, lmr is sending me the steeda one free of charge since the one they sent me was a 50resto brand.

I think they're all the same quality cable made by the same Taiwanese OEM. Different companies buy them and put their own sticker on it. Share with us what you find out.

Let me check I might have one

That's what I've been saying. The good quality clutch cables made by the same Taiwanese OEM. Different companies buy them and put their own sticker on it. LMR, Ford, Steeda, Summit and others are all the same Taiwanese OEM manufactured adjustable cable with a different sticker and packaging.

Do you have your old cable? Can you cut it open and post pictures? Maximum Motorsports shows the difference between the imported cables and USA ones on their website

my old clutch cable is still usable as a backup, so i cant hack that one up just yet. good reviews on the MM clutch cable, i should have forked out the dough for those instead...

Yes. I didn't know the MM cable was made in USA. If someone buys one, look for the markings on it and post it here. If we can find the Ford part number for it, people can buy the cable possibly cheaper from the dealership.

I'm going to upgrade my clutch cable on the drop to the MM one since I've heard nothing but good things about it. This traffic has my left leg working like no tomorrow.

Post the markings on the new cable. Lets figure out the Ford Part number for the MM cable. So everyone can get it cheaper from the dealership.
