There nice , can handle 800+hp, I prefer the look of the 12 over 13 (only 2 years they made boss 302s), there's a white one on CL with 50k miles that has been for sale for over a month. You could probably talk him down quite a bit

I totally agree. Loved my ‘12. I should buy it back.

They sound amazing, good power, solid handling (for a stick axle), and have good brakes. On drag radials, mine went 12.1 @ 115. Not bad for a totally stock car.

Tranny is the weak link.

Compared to a coyote 5.0 of any year and planning on adding a power adder down the line wich is a best option? Why is the tranny a weak link? That's why i stayed away from a gt500 a while back...... Thanks for the input. [Whoo Whooooo!]

The transmissions were hit or miss. IIRC, they used the same MT82 as the Coyote and some of them had issues with weak gear sets. I used to leave at 5000 RPM’s (on drag radials). Mine was still holding up fine when I sold it around the 12k mile mark.

The Boss engine (Roadrunner) uses all forged internals... pistons, rods, and crank. They have the Boss intake (obviously), plus better flowing heads and different cams. As solid as the Coyotes are, the Roadrunners take things up a few nothches.
