I went to the NorCal Shelby Club Mini Nats car show/trackday last Saturday (8/6/16) and snapped a few pictures throughout the day. Lots of beautiful cars out there and I was able to get a "good feel" for the model year and color Boss 302 I 'think' I want. Anyway, if your car is in these pics and you want more or a larger version, feel free to let me know as I have tons more pictures that I have not posted. Enjoy [burnout]

My kids next to the famous Griggs Racing "Old Blue" - the guys from Griggs were real cool and let the kids hop in the car for some photo ops.

The kids loved the tiger-designed AV8SS S197 [Big Grin]

Hooked up with the new owner of my old American Iron foxbody. He made a few changes after purchasing it from me but man, does that thing run hard!

I knew that GB GT500 looked familiar! Nice car! I actually have a bunch more action shots of your car if you want some.

Nice shots. I like the color on that greyish GT350.

Nice pics did that event help u decide on what gen to get?

That light gray (almost primer gray) GT350 is a very subtle color. I think it's one of those, love it or hate it, type of colors. I personally wouldn't get that color. Still nice, but white or red would be my first choice.

Yes, The event definitely helped me decide on model and color for the Boss. I was hesitant on GHIG but when I saw it in person and in action under the sun, both the wife and I agreed that the color is very nice! I was expecting more of a lime green, but the pearl/metallic really pops in person. If I can't find the right GHIG '13, my second option would be a white '12.

Never been a fan of the Capri until now. That thing looks pretty good.

Just curious, were you running a red SVO that day? I noticed your sig says you have an SVO track car...

Unfortunately I don't think I got any pics of that car (if it was you), but it sounded good out there [Whoo Whooooo!]

Thanks man! Just using an old Nikon D3100 with a 35mm and. Zoom lens (I think 70-300mm)...used to be into photo editing but I simply don't have time for all that anymore lol! These are raw images...you can see my 35mm lens is dirty and has a piece of lint or something stuck in it [Confused]

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I go every year. I took my car loving grandson Saturday and stayed all day. As portrayed in your pictures, the event was shockingly very "kid friendly". Many of the participants offered my grandson to sit in their cars and were very willing to talk shop. He had a great time and is hooked now. I guess I have to start buying parts for his future Mustang build.

Glad your grandson enjoyed! I have several other pictures of my kids sitting in other cars but I think I posted enough of them [Big Grin] They definitely enjoyed themselves and love going to these types of events with me. As you mentioned, a lot of the guys there offered to let the kids sit in their cars...the guys from Griggs even snapped a few of their own with my son in the driver's seat for their website/Facebook page. Another guy with a stock car pulled up next to us as we were walking the paddock and said to stop by his tent to let the kids hop in his racecar! This was one of the first times so many attendees offered the kids to hop in...it was great! [patriot]

Dust on the sensor. Either can try and clean it yourself (risky) or pay a shop to do it. Thanks for the pictures.

-Mitch, this was the first "trackday"/Mustang event I've been to in a while. Glad I went too - lots a really nice cars and got to see a spectrum of different Boss 302, GT350, and other Shelby models. Was a good day for sure. Kids enjoyed it as well! You should definitely take out your little girl and get her exposed early [patriot]

-Phila, thanks for the tip! I actually cleaned it myself after I saw these photos. It ended up being a piece of lint that I was able to easily blow off.
