Anyone got any idea where the actual pet friendly housing is? I'm all over craigslist and there's so much white noise between the scams and $2,000 rooms for rent.

I've got a 75lb dog, so if someone knows post it up please [Smile]

Buy a house and make sure your home owners insurance doesn't have an exclusion for specific breeds of dogs.

What area you looking in? I found my place on Craigslist but had to weed out all the bullshit and it took me like 3 months.

We found our rental using the redfin and realtor apps. It was tough finding one that allowed dogs but they are out there. We have a 85 lbs female german shepherd which made it tough. Good luck on the search.

Do some research and look at the realtors or property managers that R handling the rentals in The area U R looking at and tell em U R going to buy in the near future and will use them as Your real or when U end up buying down the road! U can also offer a couple hundred more per month or try to find a rent to own deal? Good luck.

I'm sick of half-assed inquiries when I'm looking for tenants.
If you want to be taken seriously, look for listings that don't specify "no pets". Write a short paragragh that would make you a good candidate and ask if they'll consider a dog with an additional pet deposit.

Its hard to find a place that is pet friendly, but they are out there. Keep looking.
