The fact that it's hard to get in gear could be from pairing a Firewall adjuster with the stock clutch cable. He should've just purchased the kit cable and adjuster, I'm sure there's a difference in length. The shaking could occur from the fly wheel not being resurfaced. These are just a few things that came to mind after reading your recent repairs and new symptoms. Good luck.

Jack up the car and take the dust cover off the clutch fork cover. Feel the tension on the cable. It should be very tight. The problem could be you don't have enough tension on your clutch cable.

Please don't tension the cable.
If the cable is too tight it will cause the throw-out bearing to ride against the pressure plate causing certain failure, also can cause premature wear of the disk and pressure plate.
If you pull the fork cover off and grab the fork, you should feel just a slight amount of play just before the throw-out bearing pushes against the pressure plate.
Too little and it won't engage clutch, too much and it will slip and cause failure
