I'm thinking of getting rid/trade of my 04 Cobra.
Has anyone regret it or wish that they did not
do it. Had the car for 9 years or so. I think
I want something newer. Thinking of a Chrysler
300 SRT8. Any thoughts?

I looked at one. Thought was a good price. But sold really fast. Have not seen any in my price range yet.

I never had a 03 cobra but drove one few times. But owned a mustang for many years. And I can see why u want to trade it. I think we all love cars. So I say fuck it and sell it. Get something fun and enjoy something new to u. Look into some m5 or some e55/e63 since it seems u want a sedan

I sold my 03 Cobra several years ago and regret it every day. I will be in the market for again soon. I'm not into any of the new stuff. I didn't enjoy my 05 or 2010 GTs as mush as my SN95 or 03 Cobra. I'm getting my 97 put back together as fast as I can to get back in it. Miss it.

If you feel like your over the car, get what makes you feel good. When you don't have that excitement from the car anymore it's time to move on, because nothing beats that new car excitement. Can't wait to jump in the ride type of feeling.

I owned an 04 for a hot minute.

It was bone stock when I got it month later had a whipple and all the other bells in whistles. Sold it 2 weeks later. Never really enjoyed it as much I thought I would. Sold that my ac cobra and a cts-V ended up getting more classics and a c6 that was a blast to drive compared to that cobra.

However since your posting about it then your hmm hawing and your not ready to move on.

if you want something newer just get a 2013-2016 5.0 with a supercharger and e85 and hit 600+rwhp

Go for it. sounds like you're itching for something different and it won't go away until you experience something different. Sold my coupe a year ago and as much as I miss it, working on my new project Erases the regret. New ride means a whole new excitement.

Worst case, you buy another 2003 cobra down the road.

I've owned a 10th anniversary Cobra & 2005 CTS V, & currently on a SRT8. In my opinion, none of the 4 door sports cars will feel like the Cobra, I had lots of fun in my CTS V, love my SRT8. Only thing I'd consider trading for would be 2007-13 Z06, or a coyote. If you drive your Cobra often or daily, why don't you park it for 3-4 months, & come back to it. Give yourself time to miss and appreciate it. Sometimes trading is the wrong option, just add to your collection. Cars I regret Selling, Anniversary Cobra, 1967 mustang coupe,

I'm about to do the same thing with my 04
I kicked the idea around a year ago and was about to sell but kept getting lowballers
Almost sold it for 13.5k and got no bites
60k mile Mystichrome car, really good condition

If I can't sell it for more than 14k I'm just going to keep it in the garage, but like you I want to get something else newer.

I daily a CTS-V and IMO it's a much better car overall, though it is not a Ford.
Although I'm headed to the dealership today so we will see what happens! [burnout]

Do it!

Never be afraid of change. If you miss it, you can always buy another one.

Loved my SRT8 Challenger. To be honest, it was the best DD I've ever owned. I may get another down the road.
