Just another stupid fad.

I hate this fad almost as much as the dual fender stripe thing people do nowadays.

When they spin they look like whitewalls. [dance]

Maybe if the car is white no thanks otherwise.

David those are stickers actually. You have to actually sand and prep the tire then apply rubber adhesive and the stickers smooth it out etc. but only get the vinyl ones not the cheap options. I like them personally it's a nice asthetic piece

I had them on my tires for a minute. My tires barely rub as it is, so with the added letters on the back I was always glueing them back on. But since my tires only last 6 months, they are gone now LOL.

On slicks and on REAL raised white letter tires I think it's fine. For example: Hoosier slicks, BFGoodrich raised white letter tires (as seen in many classic muscle cars), etc = OK

But on street tires that don't come with white letters from the factory, it's not a good look. For example: vinyl stick-on tire decals = no Bueno!

I think it's fine on old school cars, slicks etc but on low profile street tires, it's kinda strange.

Kinda like black and yellow plates don't look right on modern cars.

Anything can be said about anything, and everyone will have an opinion. 1 piece fox headlights, smoked lenses, you name it. Hell, I probably would not own my 500 today if it came with stripes. Just not my thing.

I'm not a fan of these. It ruins the look.

I've always liked the look of the white lettering. Yes it looks better on track tires.
I haven't seen it yet but I'm against people doing it to cheap knock off tires or buckets.
I also liked the look of the mid 90's boxed 2 door tahoe lowered on tall Goodyears with yellow lettering with black cragers

Like others have already pointed out, they are stickers.

We all know about the classic tires with raised letters that have white paint. Not pointing anything new here, move along.

These Instagram cars ain't spending the coin on special machines to paint letters on their tires. They buying cheap vinyl stickers to front their flea market bought tires as Pirelli and Michelins.

Raised white letter tire are not painted white period all tires start of white then they put carbon black in to the tires to get the black color.

Nope been in the automotive game since the 80's .and that's why when folks hit the curb with white walls the whole side of the tire becomes white.

And there is a machine out the will paint any pattern you want on the side of a tire .read it in care craft and few other magazines last year.
