Hey D.R.E,

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but there's no way to track ownership on a pre-81 vehicle. I have a 1967 mustang that'd been marti reported but that only tells you what options it came with, and build information.

I bought my 67 with a title, but it was in a previous owner's name, that had been signed and It hadn't been registered in 10-11 years.

What information are you wanting to know about it? You can start with posting the VIN and we can decode it, if you like.

Thanks,

- Sinister Mustang

Yup what Steve said. Call CHP or call your local PD. I did that for my Cougar when i had it.

Yeah thanks guys it hasn't been registered since the mid 90s from what I was told so if it checks out clean I would have to do it lien sale?

Go to CHP, check Vin, then if good go to the DMV fill out no title form, wait for B98 as you walk in at B12. Pay for title plates taxes , oh yea get yellow plates . Good luck pretty simple.
