Since there's been some posts of new DD's, I figured I'd post mine up. I got this little go kart about a month ago. It's a loaded 2014 Fiesta ST and I love this thing plus I finally have 2 Fords in my stable.

How is it? Does it live up to all the hype and high reviews?

Thinking about picking one up for a fun daily driver.

I rented a regular Festiva about a year ago. The thing was zippy as hell and got really good gas mileage. I can imagine the ST has got to be pretty fun.

That's a sweet little ride. Im waiting for the Focus RS though and once I pay off my 13 then I will look into getting one. Thumbs up though on your Fiesta ST !!

Funnest car I've ever owned!!
It's not fast...it's quick. Extremely responsive in every way. Not a car for the road coarse, but take it to the canyon twisties or auto cross and it shines very bright right out of the box.
I average 32 mpg and have a lot of fun doing it!!
Nice purchase.

Thanks guys for the kind words.

It's a blast to drive and I think it lives up to the hype. It takes turns like it's on rails and the 1.6 loves to rev. The brakes are great and the recaros hug you better than your lady. The only thing is if your pretty wide you may not want the recaros since they are really snug. I think it's the best dd for the price and the best part you get all the bells and whistles of higher priced cars. It puts the same smile on my face that I get when I drive my Bullitt.

Oh and it's great on gas even when you kick in the turbo [Big Grin]

Very nice! I've had my Molten Orange Fiesta ST for about 19 months now. Bought it for a DD to keep the miles down on the Boss and it's a great little car. I never thought I would like a fwd 4 cylinder so much. You need to try and do the ST Academy before Miller Motorsports Park closes. It was a blast!

The Fiesta ST is in my opinion one of the best options in the daily driver market right now. I bought one and have been really happy with the little thing. Welcome to the ST legion, lol.

FiestaSTforum.com is a great community to get involved.

Miller Motorsports Park is outside of Salt Lake City. ST owners get a free day at the school via the Ford sponsored Octane Academy.

Man sounds like fun but a little far though.

Congrats on the ST, Robert! They are fun little cars... but I just recently sold my Focus though. I just didn't care for the FWD.

Miller Motorsports Park is a must. I spent two days there with my dad at the Boss Track Attack after I bought my '12. Best father-son trip ever!

Thanks Dave, yeah the only draw back is the FWD, but in this car it doesn't really bother me, it's just too much fun.
How longs the drive to there?

It's a long drive. I bought my '09 G8 GXP from a dealer in Salt Lake City. I want to say it's around 750 miles. My dad and I flew in... drove the school's Boss 302's and GT's.

I had a Steeda tune on my Focus. Even with wider tires and a couple traction mods, it was mostly wheel spin for 2 gears. Annoying. The new car will fix that problem for sure.

Oh ok so I take it they have STs for the track too or are people driving theirs for the free track day?

So what's the new ride?

I'm pretty sure they have school cars for the ST Octane Academy too.

I bought a '16 STi. It just showed up at the dealer in Colorado yesterday. I should have it in a couple weeks.

Thanks, brother! It's been a long time coming. I'll post pics when I get it.

My neighbor just picked one up and loves it; real shocker, he hates(hated) Fords. After his wife purchased a '15 mustang(V6), he changed his mind. Said I should take a spin with him, see what I think. He is 6'4" and a good 260-275#, said it's a challenge getting in the Recaros, but once in he's good. It is DD commuting from San Ramon to SF.
