Anyone know of any good places to go? Thinking of heading out to Walnut Creek and trying one of the places out there.

Ozora in Walnut Creek.

If you like baked/fried sushi - try the baked scallop and the jumping spicy tuna. I'm not as well versed on the raw stuff but they have good ones there as well.

I Love Teriyaki in Concord has good rolls too.

Nama Sushi in Walnut Creek is also good.

Hamachi is probably the only sushi spot I really love in Walnut Creek and Concord. Their happy hour is pretty good too. Service is hit or miss at if you're sitting at the bar. Used to go on a weekly basis and never had the same bar tender if that means anything but their sushi is top notch.

In Concord we eat at a little spot off of Port Chicago next door to Starbucks and Subway because it is down the street from our house. We used to eat at Ozora (off of Oak Grove Rd. and Treat) all the time when I lived in the apartments across the street.

What is your price range

High class : ozumo 161 Stuart st sf ca. Food is really good and they will do everything for you except a "happy ending".

Not high end : live sushi 2001 17th street this place is off the chain so good!

Lol thanks for all the suggestions. No price range, just looking for a nice place to take a date.

SF is a little out the way as we're going a little later in the day, but I'll definitely keep Ozumo in mind next time.
