So I bought a bucket, go figure lol. I'm just going to undo the ghetto rigging speaker wire with fresh or known good oem harnesses. So tonight I took about an hour and half to take out all the harnesses. From the dash forward.

The main harness was a disaster, broken clips, the salt and pepper shakers weren't even mounted to anything, there was a push button start wired hot 24/7 so with no key no fuel pump not even the clutch pedal down, you could hit that button and crank the car. After calling MUSTANGGUY he shot me a fresh 86 non maf harness, oh and while pulling the car apart, I found it was an a9s powering the whole thing so that's kinda cool I guess.
Next I realized that the harness coming from under the dash, along the driver side under the coil and included the light harness was the main source for my issue, where I would drive and the harness would bounce with poor connections causing a stutter and power loss and complete shut off of the car. Anyways Im just taking this step by step I don't want to go all out I just want a driving car. Something I know the details of so I don't have to trip off shit. Pics to follow

Yea the 82 was worse off than what I picked up. Turns out that the windshield flew up just hours before I was going to look at it. I ended up getting a 86 notch out of san larenzo for a decent price. It's 5.0/5 speed. Aero nose (86 lx bumper is already at paint shop) tubular sfc appear to be Griggs lca Bbk headers Bbk x pipe magnaflow catback gears 5 lug extended studs, it's on eibach sport lines came with 2 different sets of wheels. 99 polished Cobras and blacked out sunflower wheels. Needs a clutch (already got an oe replacemwnt waiting) but it had rigged ass wiring so I'm doing the dash harness forward with fresh units. Just need a maf conversion and to pick up a headlight and dash harness from haulinassmotorsports. The car is going to be black with bright red molding stripes black and red interior and I'm going to attempt at customizing some seats to match that of the Jordan number 6 (infrared) they are my favorite shoe and timeless like a notchback. I'm thinking red carpet like the insole black and red dash. For seats I want nubuck bolsters, perforated black vinyl center section with a reflective silver 3m underlay. For performance I'm just sticking with a cost affective hci set up (Eddie 6025 heads or old afrs, custom cam and a matching intake)

Oh and for the haters I HAVENT EVEN DONE MY TAXES YET!!!

Oh dude fucking tell me about it?!? All I ever do is buy junk cars. Sometimes when I'm sitting alone like you do, I just start to cry because I haven't bought anything substantial like you have. It really pulls at my heart strings

Don't worry, you're not the only one who buys POS cars. I just bought a 93 hatch. Looked fine at first glance. But after digging in deeper, I see that the driver floor and hatch needs to be replaced, driver side rocker needs to be straightened, driver seat is like a rocki g chair, and the interior paneling is loose and missing screws. A true Fix Or Repair Daily. But eventually it will become a future project or end up being my son's first car.

Exactly! If people saw all the work that these show cars get you wouldn't be worried about my new project. Haha it's simple, it's my life let me throw my money in whatever I want. And frank I know you didn't mean nothin by it im just saying my peace

Was it you who had the project Burban you wanted to mod? 96ish Cobra? Or the 74-76 Nova for an LS swap? How have those progressed?

Got the suburban for free and sold it for 6k after I crashed it and it needed the cat and knock sensor
Bought the nova for 300 traded some 300 dollar mustang wheels for body work and sold it for 1600 and the 97 cobra I was making payments on to a friend but the so called friend took it back but I made him pay me all my money back and I sold the staggered saleens I got for free for like 800 bucks so I feel good about all my endeavors! How about you??

Wow. No need to get all defensive, bud. I was asking out of genuine curiosity as to whether you were multitasking all projects at once and not as a personal attack.

In my short 12 years of driving I've owned a dozen and a half cars/bikes so I can sympathize with jumping from project to project when you make smart buys.
