Probably won't have much of an effect. OPEC is pumping oil to keep it at around $50 a barrel to keep North America out of the game. Most of the reserves in the US and Canada require oil to be in the $80 range. The Saudi king said (before he died) that he would never allow oil to reach those levels again.

Then you are financially irresponsible.

I don't pay attention to prices either, it's so cheap that driving around trying to find a station that is $.02 cheaper than another station is pointless. I think regular is $1.87 here.

Really so when you pass a cheaper gas station an you have 1/4 tank you just pass it on by an go the next day to the more expensive station then?

In cold weather you get better performance from regular gas.

I don't look at prices, if I need fuel I need fuel. Now there are certain stations I won't stop at.

I was under the impression that oil prices don't reflect at the pump until 2-3 months later, and the barrel was still on a slight decline, am I misinformed?

Are people really stressing over saving 5-10 cents a gallon? On a fill up you're talking about .50 cents to 1.50$.

You to could retire at 38 if you pay close attention to where you get your gas.

They could charge me 10 dollars a gallon and Id still pay that shit

I was just mentioning that it's on a rise .Last time it went from 1.55 a gallon of regular to 4.50 real quick ,but a lot of us have short term memory ,and premium was at over 5.00 a gallon, and it stayed that way for a while . That can make anyone think twice about saving some money by not going on long trips because of fuel prices , it's not going to stop you from buying it, but it will make everything a lot more expensive to. Diesel prices will spike also ,and I do pay attention to that, when I'm buying 150 gallons a day. [Frown]

Thanks for this very useful info. I knew it was the premium chevron that was making my car act up at that cold ass sideshow in December. at the same time my friends benz was acting funny too from the same gas.

also my car makes cool popping noises when I pump premium, when I pump regular it doesn't make that cool noise that's how I know theres a difference.

Looks like i need to keep my Nissan Sentra. I can see gas hitting $5 a gallon again this summer. Atleast i got to feel what its like to get a full tank of gas for $20 a few times.
